Placing Booms for construction work in high rise buildings

Utranazz Placing Booms are especially designed to work within restricted areas, such as high-rise buildings or structures that are unable to be supplied with concrete by conventional truck-mounted concrete pumps with booms. There are 3 types supplied which are electrically powered and operated via radio remote control:

1. Standard unit fitted to a steel manufactured mast
2. Concrete pillar type
3. Hydraulically operated climbing frame

The Urban Concrete Pump small enough for set up on just one side of a road

The Urban pump's boom reaches up to 15m in height, but by integrating separate tubing, the Urban Concrete Pump will pump up to 65m vertically and 300m horzontally.  Ideal for cities and towns where roads are narrow and access is restricted.

Utranazz supplies smallest truck-mounted concrete pump on the island of Guernsey

Utranazz, has supplied United Carpentry Formwork Pumping Ltd (UCF Pumping) in Guernsey with an Urban Concrete Pump. This is the smallest truck-mounted concrete boom pump on the Island. The Urban Pump is perfect for locations such as Guernsey, where the roads are notoriously narrow and subject to both weight and size restrictions. It is mounted on a short wheelbase 10 ton lorry, which makes it as versatile to manoeuvre as a large van.

Although extremely compact in size, the Urban Pump has all the features associated with a larger unit, such as radio remote control, ‘S’ valve pumping system, hydraulic stabiliser legs, high pressure water pump and a 15 metre placing boom that rotates through 360o. It is just 2.1 meters in width, 3 meters in height, 6.8 meters in length and weighs 9,150kg.

The Urban truck-mounted concrete pump has a 15m placing boom which, if further pipeline is integrated, can extend to reach 65m vertically and 300m horizontally, pumping concrete at rates of 45m3/hour. It has a 3 section ‘Z’ fold placing boom that can unfold in just 4.4m of space.

The versatility of bin-fed concrete batch plants

These batching plants are designed to meet the needs of companies that require highly versatile and compact machines that can be moved in a quick, simple and cost-effective way. The sami T3 bin-fed concrete batch plant is easy to transport on normal goods vehicles. As seen in the photograph, the batching plant can be equipped with 4 hydraulic lifts that make loading and unloading the empty machine possible without the use of a crane. The concrete batch plant structure consists of 3 or 4 storage tanks with hinged sides and a special belt that lifts the raw ingredients to the uploading height.
